Police said the husband stepped in to save his wife after a man shot her in the arm, then the husband shot and killed the gunman possibly in self-defense.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators said the shootings happened Sunday afternoon in a home on Donnebrook Lane in southeast Atlanta.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators said one of the renters inside the home argued with a woman and threatened to kill her. Police said he shot her in the arm. Her husband then charged at the gunman and was shot as well.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the husband managed to wrestle the gun away, and fired at the gunman; he then burst through a window, and died in the backyard.<\/p>\n<p>The husband and wife were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in stable condition. All parties were between their late 30&#8217;s to 50&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p>Police tell FOX 5 that the incident has been officially classified as a felon killed by a private citizen and that no charges will be filed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>From\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.khq.com\/story\/39290385\/police-investigating-apparent-self-defense-homicide-in-bonner-county\">BONNER COUNTY, ID<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A 39-year-old Spirit Lake man was shot and later died after an apparent attack of a woman and her mother in south Bonner County Friday evening.<\/p>\n<p>Friday around 5:15 p.m., Bonner County Sheriff&#8217;s Office Deputies responded to a disturbance report at the 100 block of Rebel Ridge Rd. Prior to arriving, dispatch advised that a man was shot by a 41-year-old female, who had been defending herself and her 70-year-old mother from the accused attacker.<\/p>\n<p>Lifesaving efforts were being conducted by bystanders before first responders arrived and took over. Joshua Cole of Spirit Lake would however succumb to his injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Upon investigation, preliminary findings showed the shooting was done in an act of self-defense.
