The Gilbert Police Department said Menchaca posed as a woman named \u201cAmy\u201d on a caregiver job site called CareLinx.com, saying she needed assistance with her adult son,\u00a0FOX 10 Phoenix\u00a0reported. Three caregivers, all women, were hired to care for Menchaca at various points over the summer, with the first woman saying she bathed and assisted him 30 times.<\/p>\n<p>Sgt. Darrell Krueger, a spokesperson for the Gilbert Police Department told\u00a0The Washington Post, Menchaca asked the caregivers to meet him at restaurants to change his dirty diapers in the public bathrooms.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Some guys have trouble getting women to show up for dinner and a movie.\u00a0 I am just not that caring of a person to do that for anyone, I could give a shit less what kind of syndrome you have.\u00a0 If you want me to meet you in a public restroom at least make it worth my while.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>All three women said Menchaca became aroused during baths, police said. The caregivers said \u201cAmy\u201d texted them telling them to \u201cpunish\u201d Menchaca if he soiled his diaper.<\/p>\n<p>The first caregiver became suspicious and followed Menchaca home earlier this month and met his parents. She discovered Menchaca \u201cdid not have Down syndrome and did not require diaper changes,\u201d\u00a0a probable cause statement said.<\/p>\n<p>The man\u2019s parents told investigators Menchaca does not have Down syndrome.
