A park in Suffolk County, New York<\/a>, dedicated to the memory of Navy SEAL and Medal of Honor recipient Michael P. Murphy, was vandalized this week. A $2500 reward is offered for information leading to the arrest of the vandals;<\/p>\n

Murphy, a Navy SEAL from Patchogue, was killed in Afghanistan during Operation Red Wings in 2005 at the age of 29. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroic actions in protecting his comrades.<\/p>\n
