From Letcher County, Kentucky<\/a>;<\/p>\n

Kentucky State Police tells EKB News that Adam Henrickson was shot by his uncle, Robbie Fugate, at Fugate\u2019s residence in the Blackey community of Letcher County.<\/p>\n

KSP spokesperson Master Trooper Jody Sims said the two had been having problems for a couple of days and Henrickson was allegedly trying to get inside of Fugate\u2019s residence to confront him. Sims said Fugate shot through the door, striking his nephew in the leg.<\/p>\n

Henrickson was taken to Whitesburg ARH Hospital and then on to Pikeville Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Sims said no charges have been filed at this time.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A store clerk there told officers [Mario Luera, 32] entered the store, took a few items and even tried to take the cash register.<\/p>\n

The robber pushed the clerk away, who then pulled out a handgun and shot him in the leg, police said. The clerk’s name was not released.<\/p>\n

Luera was booked into the Dallas County Jail on a robbery charge, jail records show. His bail is pending.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

According to authorities, the girl told police she was approached by a 20- to 30-year-old man in the 19500 block of Berg Road at about 8:30 p.m.. She said the man grabbed her and the two struggled before she produced a knife she had on her and stabbed him in his side.<\/p>\n

The man allegedly fell to the ground and the girl ran home.<\/p>\n

Her mother and the girl went to the Detroit Police Department’s Eighth Precinct to make a police report.<\/p>\n
