He went to the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/VA?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#VA<\/a> in Salt Lake City yesterday. This was the condition of the room he was seen in. Very unprofessional, unsanitary and disrespectful. Please retweet. Maybe <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/realDonaldTrump?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@realDonaldTrump<\/a> will see it. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/P4CMQeE74t\">pic.twitter.com\/P4CMQeE74t<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Stephen Wilson (@GR8_2B_alive) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GR8_2B_alive\/status\/989902114624126976?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 27, 2018<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The hospital has apologized, according to <a href=\"http:\/\/m.tucsonnewsnow.com\/story\/38070272\/we-dont-seem-to-be-a-priority-veteran-posts-photos-of-dirty-va-exam-room\">Tucson News<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Dr. Karen Gribbin, the chief of staff at the Salt Lake VA, has apologized to Wilson and is investigating why the room was a mess.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I was taken aback by the condition of the room. The patient, Mr. Wilson, should not have been placed in the room in that condition,\u201d Gribbin said.<\/p>\n<p>Gribbin calls the incident a rare event but intends to review procedures with staff.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I do not want another veteran to experience this,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Wilson believes his experience highlights a problem across the VA.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m sure you could ask 1,000 different veterans, and each one of them will have their own story,\u201d he said. &#8220;It&#8217;s frustrating. I mean, I go to another hospital&#8217;s emergency room\u2026 [and] it&#8217;s such a different experience.
