He is best known for his role in the spin-off television show “Frasier” as Martin Crane, a cranky Seattle police officer who\u2019d taken a bullet in the hip and then been forced to live with his neurotic son, Frasier. <\/p>\n
He was a British citizen who came to the US at the age of 11 to visit his sister, a war bride of the Second World War.
