For the last 15 years, all we’ve heard is the Democrats demanding that every bit of legislation be “bi-partisan” – that the Republican majority allow Democrats to craft bills and policy. Of course, instead of being “bi-partisan” the Democrats instead just voted ‘no’ on everything. Now it’s their turn to be ‘bi-partisan’ and it just ain’t hap’nin’. So the hyperpartisan Eugene Robinson at the Washington Post (sorry, I’m not linking to the boob’s column) says suddenly “That’s OK.”

Robinson goes on to write;<\/p>\n

The House of Representatives loaded up the bill like a Christmas tree as powerful Democrats found room for their pet projects. This was a good thing, not an outrage. Hundreds of millions of dollars for contraceptives? To the extent that those condoms or birth-control pills are made in the United States and sold in U.S. drugstores, that spending would be stimulative in more ways than one.
