“Nobody should have to go like that,” said Lolita Bullock. “It’s senseless.”<\/p>\n

David Washington, 27, died just feet away from bullock’s front door.<\/p>\n

“I’m the one who made the initial phone call,” said Bullock. “I stayed with him until they got here, I stayed with him until they removed him, I wouldn’t leave him.”<\/p>\n

Escambia County Sheriff’s deputies believe Washington was shot during a drug-related home invasion. Investigators said he and three others were involved. One of whom the sheriff’s office identifies as 22-year-old Lyntonio De’Shawn Quinn.<\/p>\n

Now, with blood stains in her front yard, Bullock wants others to know the circumstances don’t justify what happened.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From Nashville, Tennessee<\/a>;<\/p>\n

The Nash County Sheriff\u2019s Office received a call regarding an armed robbery at the Four Points General Store at 5636 Red Road north of Nashville. The call came in shortly before 9 p.m.<\/p>\n

Authorities say a man entered the store, brandished a gun and demanded the store employee give him money from the register. During the encounter, the employee pulled out a revolver and fired multiple shots at the man as he fled the store, according to the sheriff\u2019s office. The employee was not injured, officials said.<\/p>\n

Officials said it\u2019s unknown at this time if the suspect was struck by any bullets fired by the employee. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From Horseheads, New York<\/a>;<\/p>\n

The incident occurred shortly after 11:30 p.m. at 224 Overlook Drive, according to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office.<\/p>\n

Deputies responding to a 911 call learned that three male subjects entered the residence, armed with a loaded rifle, and demanded cash from the two occupants.<\/p>\n

During the incident, a suspect later identified as Daiquan J. Bythwood, 18, of Elmira, became involved in a physical altercation with one of the occupants, according to Sheriff Christopher Moss. <\/p>\n

During the struggle, the second occupant shot Bythwood with a shotgun, Moss said.<\/p>\n

The suspects fled the residence in a dark-colored sedan. Bythwood was transported by his accomplices to St. Joseph’s Hospital, Moss said.<\/p>\n

Bythwood was transferred to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, where he underwent emergency surgery. He was in critical condition Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Elmira police took a second suspect, identified as 17-year-old Zhamere F. Charriez of Elmira, into custody Thursday and turned him over to the sheriff’s office.<\/p>\n

Charriez was charged with first-degree robbery, a felony. He was arraigned in Town of Horseheads Court and committed to the Chemung County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 property bond.<\/p>\n

Authorities are still seeking the third suspect, identified as Drew P. Stansfield, 19, of Horseheads.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
