{"id":77314,"date":"2018-01-23T08:54:38","date_gmt":"2018-01-23T13:54:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=77314"},"modified":"2018-01-23T08:00:56","modified_gmt":"2018-01-23T13:00:56","slug":"pentagon-denies-that-a-us-soldier-was-killed-by-isis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=77314","title":{"rendered":"Pentagon denies that a US soldier was killed by ISIS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.militarytimes.com\/flashpoints\/2018\/01\/22\/pentagon-denies-isis-claim-of-killing-us-soldier\/\">Military Times<\/a>, ISIS in Afghanistan, ISIS-Khorasan (ISIS-K) reported that they had killed a US soldier along with seven Afghan troops;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The Islamic State offshoot, known as ISIS-Khorasan, or ISIS-K, claimed in their news release that a joint attack by Afghan and U.S. forces on the villages of Jaharwazi and Mariz was repelled by insurgents.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe clashes resulted in the death of a Crusader soldier and the wounding of seven apostates. The rest fled and managed to survive,\u201d ISIS-K alleged in its statement.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>But the Pentagon has denied that;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI can confirm there were no United States Forces-Afghanistan service members killed in Nangarhar in the last 24 hours,\u201d Capt. Tom Gresback, director of public affairs for Resolute Support, told Military Times.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs the Afghans defeat the enemy in Nangarhar, we continue to receive daily reports from the insurgents of their successes.
