From Kanawha County, West Virginia<\/a>;<\/p>\n

Deputies with the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office tell WSAZ that in the early morning hours Saturday, an 82-year-old man was working in his garage.<\/p>\n

A 24-year-old man allegedly broke into the garage through a window and threatened the homeowner.<\/p>\n

The homeowner shot the intruder, according to deputies, killing him.<\/p>\n

It happened in the 200 block of Destiny Lane.<\/p>\n

Detectives are on scene investigating collecting evidence and conducting interviews.<\/p>\n

Investigators are not releasing names at this time. No charges are expected to be filed against the homeowner.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From Tamarac, Florida<\/a>;<\/p>\n

Deputies say a man walking his dog noticed another man walking around the neighborhood burglarizing vehicles.<\/p>\n

The man watched the suspect walk towards his home and attempt to burglarize his car.<\/p>\n

According to BCSO, the homeowner confronted the suspect, an altercation occurred, and the homeowner shot the suspect.<\/p>\n

The adult male was taken to Broward Health North, and pronounced dead. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From Del City, Oklahoma<\/a>;<\/p>\n

Officers were called the home in the 3100 block of Neighbors Lane at 12:30 a.m. on Friday, January 12.<\/p>\n

A man across the street called 911 after a woman from the home ran to him for help.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe said that her friend was shot as she opened the door and they believed she was dead,\u201d said Lonnie White neighbor. \u201cThey shot her in the face point blank range.\u201d<\/p>\n

Police said the suspects Darious Jackson, 22, and his brother Sharonne Jackson, 29, had planned to rob the women.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey went in there looking for money,\u201d said Major Ted Kleber, Del City Police Department. \u201cObviously knew these girls had some.\u201d<\/p>\n

Major Kleber said a man in the bedroom, Vincent Alexander, pulled a gun out from under his pillow and fired at both suspects. Meanwhile, a woman and child hid from the gunfire in a closet.<\/p>\n

\u201cBoth suspects were shot,\u201d said Kleber. \u201cOne of the suspects fled the scene and we later fund him at a hospital.\u201d<\/p>\n

Police said Alexander also went on the run. Detectives want to interview him for several reasons.<\/p>\n

\u201cNumber one, he was involved in the shooting,\u201d said Kleber. \u201cHe shot back. He is a convicted felon, number two. And he took the weapon with him so we need to recover the weapon and also we need his side of the story.\u201d<\/p>\n

The neighbor across the street thinks Alexander saved the other woman and child by shooting at the suspects.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing across the street,\u201d said White. \u201cAnd talking to them, they came here I believe to kill everybody in the home.\u201d<\/p>\n

Police said the suspect who is still in the hospital just got out of prison in December. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
