{"id":76843,"date":"2017-12-31T09:46:36","date_gmt":"2017-12-31T14:46:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=76843"},"modified":"2017-12-31T09:46:36","modified_gmt":"2017-12-31T14:46:36","slug":"trump-heats-up-feud-with-iran","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=76843","title":{"rendered":"Trump Heats Up Feud With Iran"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/news\/donald-trump-heats-feud-iran-021552260.html\">Huffington Post<\/a> exclaims that &#8220;Donald Trump Heats Up Feud With Iran By Praising Anti-Government Protests&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not sure how much he could &#8220;heat up&#8221; a feud with Iran, the country that declared war on us in 1979 and the country that helped Shi&#8217;ite militias in Iraq kill US troops with their special IED explosives with guidance from Quds Force advisors.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The Iranian government denounced President Donald Trump on Saturday after he escalated his support for the anti-government protesters who have been holding demonstrations in the country for three days.<\/p>\n<p>Trump tweeted Friday his praise of the \u201cpeaceful protests\u201d in Iran, calling protesters \u201cIranian citizens fed up with regime\u2019s corruption &#038; its squandering of the nation\u2019s wealth to fund terrorism abroad.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, the president tweeted two video clips of his speech at the United Nations General Assembly in September, in which he called the Iranian government an \u201coppressive regime\u201d and suggested that Iran\u2019s leaders are afraid of their own citizens.<\/p>\n<p>Iran\u2019s Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Ghasemi responded to Trump\u2019s amped-up support in a state television report Saturday by insisting that \u201cIranian people give no credit to the deceitful and opportunist remarks of U.S. officials or Mr. Trump,\u201d according to The Associated Press.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2017\/12\/31\/middleeast\/iran-protests-sunday\/index.html\">CNN<\/a> reports that two protesters have died in the &#8220;peaceful protests&#8221; in Tehran. The government has also blocked the Telegraph mobile messaging application, although the desktop app remains unaffected.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Many reports of peaceful protests by Iranian citizens fed up with regime&#8217;s corruption &#038; its squandering of the nation&#8217;s wealth to fund terrorism abroad. Iranian govt should respect their people&#8217;s rights, including right to express themselves.&#8221; Trump added.<\/p>\n<p>Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi pushed back against the US comments a day later, saying the Iranian people gave no credence to such &#8220;opportunistic&#8221; remarks by Trump or his administration.<\/p>\n<p>His statement on the Foreign Ministry website also described &#8220;Mr Trump&#8217;s government&#8221; as the main source of ill will toward Iran.<\/p>\n<p>Iranian officials have pointed to foreign intervention as being behind the anti-government protests. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I guess the media misses the Nobel-winning presidential touch which coddles the mullahs who have no illusions about their war against the United States.<\/p>\n<p>In another link, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2017\/12\/30\/middleeast\/iran-protests-intl\/index.html\">CNN<\/a> reports that five protesters were shot in Durod in the western part of Iran. So, tell me, who should President Trump support in this conflagration?
