The problem with pretending to be a Vietnam Veteran is you have to have been on active duty during the Vietnam War – he joined the reserves in 1974, but he didn’t go on active duty or attend boot camp until a month after the communists marched into Saigon, effectively ending US participation in the Vietnam War.<\/p>\n
