{"id":76332,"date":"2017-12-05T09:44:54","date_gmt":"2017-12-05T14:44:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=76332"},"modified":"2017-12-05T09:44:54","modified_gmt":"2017-12-05T14:44:54","slug":"supreme-court-supports-trump-travel-ban","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=76332","title":{"rendered":"Supreme Court supports Trump travel ban"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2017\/12\/04\/supreme-court-allows-president-trumps-travel-ban-to-go-fully-into-effect.html\">CNBC<\/a> only two members of the Supreme Court, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sonia Sotomayor, dissented yesterday on the case of the President&#8217;s travel ban on people coming from Chad, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria and Yemen.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>This is not a final ruling on the travel ban: Challenges to the policy are winding through the federal courts, and the justices themselves ultimately are expected to rule on its legality.<\/p>\n<p>But the action indicates that the high court might eventually approve the latest version of the ban, announced by President Donald Trump in September. Lower courts have continued to find problems with the policy.<\/p>\n<p>[&#8230;]<\/p>\n<p>In lawsuits filed in Hawaii and Maryland, federal courts said the updated travel ban violated federal immigration law. The travel policy also applies to travelers from North Korea and to some Venezuelan government officials and their families, but the lawsuits did not challenge those restrictions. Also unaffected are refugees.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>So, it&#8217;s anti-Muslim, well, except for North Koreans and some commies from Venezuela &#8211; none of whom are Muslims.
