It was her job to solicit for those donated funds, and she used the money that she stole for 12 years to pay for her own stuff. According to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.expressnews.com\/news\/local\/article\/Woman-gets-5-years-for-stealing-260-000-from-12393246.php\">San Antonio Express-News<\/a> she swiped more than $260,000.<\/p>\n<p>From <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kens5.com\/news\/local\/woman-sentenced-for-stealing-donations-for-wounded-warriors\/495749243\">KENS5<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>She admitted from 2004 to December 2016, she stole the donations and used them for her own personal affairs, including gambling.<\/p>\n<p>She further admitted to keeping the deposits under $10,000 in order to avoid automatic currency transaction reports.<\/p>\n<p>Officials say she was sentenced to five years in federal prison and ordered to pay $260,000 in restitution.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>From <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mysanantonio.com\/news\/local\/article\/Woman-gets-5-years-for-stealing-260-000-from-12393247.php#photo-12050689\">My San Antonio<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>At sentencing Wednesday, U.S. District Judge Xavier Rodriguez gave her 60 months in prison on each count, then ran the terms concurrently.
