From Malibu, California<\/a>;<\/p>\n

Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies say all this began at about 1:45 this morning \u2026 when a homeowner found a burglar at a house up in the Ventura county section of Malibu.<\/p>\n

The homeowner tells Fox 11 news that he went outside with a handgun to confront the burglar.<\/p>\n

But there was a struggle and the burglar ended up with the handgun \u2026 firing three shots at the homeowner.<\/p>\n

As the burglar drove off in a pickup truck \u2026 the homeowner went inside to get a 12 gauge shotgun \u2026 and the chase was on \u2026 two pickup trucks and guns blazing.<\/p>\n

East on PCH into Malibu \u2026 with the bad guy leaning out the window to fire shots at the pursuing homeowner.<\/p>\n

At the Zuma Beach lifeguard headquarters \u2026 the bad guy slammed on the brakes \u2026 and the homeowners\u2019s pickup truck was smashed.<\/p>\n

The bad guy kept going \u2026 he turned up Busch Drive and crash his pick up into a recreational vehicle parked on the side.<\/p>\n

The burglar then drove off on all-terrain vehicle \u2026 which had been in the bed of the pickup truck.<\/p>\n

The burglar \u2026 the A T V \u2026 and the handgun are all missing.<\/p>\n

The L- A County sheriff sent out a helicopter and there was a big manhunt.<\/p>\n

All of this was reported by Fox 11 \u2026 which broke this story.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From Lillington, North Carolina<\/a>;<\/p>\n

A Lillington man who was shot Sunday night during an attempted break-in at a local home also is suspected of a shooting outside a Bunnlevel home, authorities said Monday.<\/p>\n

Raquan Moore, 21, faces six counts of shooting into an occupied vehicle and one count each of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, first-degree burglary and possession of a firearm by a felon.<\/p>\n

Moore was listed as stable at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill after getting shot at 100 Loraine Lane, authorities said. The homeowner called 911 at about 9:45 p.m. to report that he had shot sometime trying to break into his home.<\/p>\n

Investigators with the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office determined that Moore also was tied to a 9 p.m. shooting at 67 Ervin McNeil St. in Bunnlevel.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From Fort Myers, Florida<\/a>;<\/p>\n

A robber was shot at after trying to rob a man Sunday night. It happened on Figuera Avenue in the Tice community.<\/p>\n

According to witnesses, the robber assaulted one man and took his property. The thief then attempted to rob a second man who fought back. The thief then pulled out a gun and began shooting. The victim then tried to run the thief over with his car. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From Glendale, Arizona<\/a>;<\/p>\n

A mother shot her daughter’s ex-boyfriend after he attacked her in Glendale on Sunday night, according to police.<\/p>\n

It happened near 57th and Peoria avenues just after 8 p.m.<\/p>\n

Police said the adult daughter’s ex-boyfriend arrived at the house, “causing a disturbance.” <\/p>\n

The mother tried to get him to leave and he assaulted her, police said. That’s when she shot him, according to police.<\/p>\n
