From Clovis, California<\/a>;<\/p>\n

The three Fresno men have been identified as 31-year-old Prince Ash, 29-year-old Eugene Spagner, and 28-year-old Antoinne Simpson.<\/p>\n

Officers say the victim’s door was locked, with him in a back bedroom with his wife, and his young daughter was in the living room when the suspects broke in.<\/p>\n

Lt. Katy Benham said, “When he heard the door open and obviously came out into the hallway and confronted the suspect that’s when he had recovered his handgun and fired a round.”<\/p>\n

Officers believe after he shot one suspect he was hit on top of the head with a handgun before the men took off.<\/p>\n

But with the quick response of police officers, they were able to catch two of the suspects speeding away from the scene and found the other bleeding in front of the apartment on the sidewalk.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From Hartford, Connecticut<\/a>;<\/p>\n

The man called police Monday morning after the car was stolen from his driveway as the car was being warmed up.<\/p>\n

He went looking for his car and found it on Maple Avenue a short time later.<\/p>\n

According to police, as the man approached the car, the teenager behind the wheel pointed a gun at him.<\/p>\n

The victim pulled his legal firearm at shot at the teen, who quickly drove away, police said.<\/p>\n

A short time later, police received a 911 call about a shooting victim on South Street, which turned out to be the 17-year-old car theft suspect.<\/p>\n

The car was recovered on Webster Street.<\/p>\n

The teenager is from New Britain and has a criminal history, including an outstanding arrest warrant for auto theft, police said.<\/p>\n
