The Clinton County Coroner identified the man as Kevin Huffer, 37, of Frankfort. <\/p>\n<p>Police detained the homeowner for questioning. His name has not been released and no charges have been filed. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>From <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nj.com\/essex\/index.ssf\/2017\/11\/resident_fatally_shoots_home_intruder_in_belleville_police_say.html\">Belleville, New Jersey<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A resident fatally shot an armed intruder during a struggle with the would-be burglar late Tuesday in Belleville that also left the homeowner wounded, authorities said.<\/p>\n<p>An armed man entered the Berton Place home around 10 p.m. and struggled with the resident, according to the Essex County Prosecutor&#8217;s Office. The resident was shot during the confrontation with the home invader.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;However, the resident then fatally shot the would-be burglar. After being shot, the unidentified burglar fled and collapsed in Nutley,&#8221; acting Essex County Prosecutor Robert D. Laurino and Belleville Police Chief Mark Minichini said in a joint statement Wednesday.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>From <a href=\"http:\/\/www.miamiherald.com\/news\/local\/community\/miami-dade\/homestead\/article182002821.html\">Miami, Florida<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>An investigator with the state attorney\u2019s office opened fire inside a Perrine CVS after another man walked into the store and pulled out a gun in an attempt to rob it, police said.<\/p>\n<p>The incident happened at about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday night at the CVS, 11503 Quail Roost Drive, in south Miami-Dade. An incident report described the man who fired a weapon as an investigator with the state attorney\u2019s office, police spokeswoman Robin Pinkard said.<\/p>\n<p>Police say the man who was shot left. Shortly after, a man with a gunshot wound showed up at Jackson Memorial South, according to police.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>From <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wltx.com\/news\/local\/woman-lures-man-into-armed-robbery-runs-away\/487667712\">Columbia, South Carolina<\/a>, another internet sales goes poorly for the crooks;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p> &#8220;The female lures the guy into a breezeway, another male steps out has a gun, brandishes it,&#8221; Wilson said.<\/p>\n<p>Luckily, the seller had a concealed weapons permit and shot his potential robber.
