From Jefferson County, Missouri<\/a>;<\/p>\n

Police say [Ramone] Thomas and three other men were ransacking a mobile home when the homeowner arrived and confronted them. The burglars ran off. In their escape, one of the burglars apparently fired a shot at the homeowner, but Thomas was hit instead.<\/p>\n

The three men ran off. Police say two women were also involved but drove away in a car.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Mr Thomas is dead from his injuries.<\/p>\n

From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania<\/a>;<\/p>\n

While many of the details in this ongoing case remain a mystery, police said they found the shooting victim inside of a house along the unit block of North Dewey Street suffering a wound to the leg.<\/p>\n

He was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition.<\/p>\n

Though the store owner said he shot the man during a robbery attempt, police are still trying to confirm those details.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From Memphis, Tennessee<\/a>;<\/p>\n

Memphis police are investigating after a man was shot and killed Thursday afternoon in the 1000 block of East Parkway South near Walker.<\/p>\n

Police said the man was shot trying to rob another person. Someone opened fire, killing him.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From Fall River, Massachusetts<\/a>;<\/p>\n

For Ahman Abdulrahman, it was just another night at his store, the Farm Market in Fall River. Until a masked man came running through the door.<\/p>\n

\u201cI could feel something fast coming in, I see someone at the door coming at me telling me to give them the money,\u201d Abdulrahman said.<\/p>\n

Happening so fast, he honestly thought it was a joke.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs soon as he hit me back I said it\u2019s real it\u2019s happening,\u201d he explained.

Abdulrahman didn\u2019t hesitate to grab a piece of wood he keeps by the register and he\u2019s glad he did.<\/p>\n

He described the confrontation \u201clike a battle, as he want to kill me to rob me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Abdulrahman hit the man over and over again until chasing him away.<\/p>\n

\u201cBy the end of it he said please just give me the money. I told him I\u2019m not going to give you anything but this stick,\u201d he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
