This past Sunday Senator Dianne Feinstein, D-CA, appeared on multiple national news shows.\u00a0 She was promoting new Federal legislation banning \u201cbump stocks\u201d.<\/p>\n

During that appearance, subject of the recent Las Vegas mass shooting came up.\u00a0 Feinstein was asked if there might \u201chave been any law passed that would’ve stopped” that recent massacre.<\/p>\n

Her answer,\u00a0 rephrased in simple English:\u00a0 \u201cNo\u201d.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

And that wasn\u2019t a slip of the tongue, either.\u00a0 Feinstein reiterated essentially the same answer on another news program later in the day.<\/p>\n

Gee.\u00a0 So Feinstein is promoting yet another gun control law that she knows won\u2019t have any significant effect when it comes to preventing gun crimes.\u00a0 No surprise there.<\/p>\n

No, what shocks me is that Feinstein \u2013 who never met a gun control measure she didn\u2019t like \u2013 actually admitted something anyone with common sense already knows.\u00a0 To wit:\u00a0 gun control laws . . . don’t prevent gun crimes. All they do is limit the rights of law-abiding citizens.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s simply no way to anticipate and prevent the actions of a loon \u2013 or a terrorist \u2013 if they keep a low profile and act within the law while planning their criminal acts.\u00a0 The Las Vegas shooter did exactly that.<\/p>\n
