Bobo sends us the sad news that Harry Dean Stanton has passed at the age of 91. He was featured in hundreds of movies in his 60-year career including Cool Hand Luke, Kelly’s Heroes, Dillinger, The Godfather Part II, Alien, Escape from New York, Christine, Paris, Texas, Repo Man, Pretty in Pink, The Last Temptation of Christ, Wild at Heart, The Straight Story, The Green Mile, Alpha Dog, and Inland Empire.<\/p>\n

Like most of his generation, he was a veteran – he served as a cook on a Landing Ship Tanker during the battle of Okinawa. His last performance in “Lucky” will be released later this month, according to TMZ<\/a>.<\/p>\n
