From Las Vegas, Nevada<\/a>;<\/p>\n

On Sept. 10, Las Vegas police arrived at a 7-Eleven on 4510 Vegas Valley, near Lamb Boulevard, after reports of and incident between employees and customers. According to reports, 3 people went into the 7-Eleven earlier that night and got into argument with several employees. They left briefly but came back shortly before midnight, at which time another fight broke out.<\/p>\n

That is when police say the clerk shot one of those people in the chest twice. That man, described only as a white man in his 20s, died at the hospital.<\/p>\n

The other two people with the man were arrested for warrants and taking part in the confrontation.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From Shreveport, Louisiana<\/a>;<\/p>\n

A homeowner shot at a pair of burglary suspects who were running from police in a southwest Shreveport neighborhood just before noon Monday.<\/p>\n

The man missed — and the suspects kept running — but police rounded them up just before 1 p.m. on Burson Street off Mansfield Road.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From Harrisburg, Pennsylvania<\/a>;<\/p>\n

Police say Servando Santos, 23, of the 600 block of West Market Street, was shot after he forcibly entered a home in the 2000 block of Fairway Lane on Sunday, Sept. 10.<\/p>\n

Santos had assaulted a woman about 6 a.m. Sunday on that block, police said. He then walked over to another residence on that block and forced himself in through the front door with a baseball bat, police said.<\/p>\n

The homeowner told Santos he was armed, but Santos continued to go into the residence, and police say several shots were fired, one of which hit Santos in the abdomen.<\/p>\n

Even though he was shot, Santos continued into the home, and police say a brief struggle happened. Family members inside the home were able to subdue Santos until he was taken into custody.<\/p>\n

Santos was given immediate medical attention and was taken to PinnacleHealth Community General Osteopathic Hospital, where he died from his injury, police said. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n
