From Richland County, South Carolina<\/a>;<\/p>\n

The Richland County Sheriff’s Department says that around noon, Melvin Strong, 19, and a 16-year-old knocked on the burglary victim’s door. The victim called 911, saying he didn’t recognize the suspects. When he hung up, the two suspects kicked in the victim’s front door.<\/p>\n

Armed with a knife, the victim stabbed the 16-year-old suspect in the upper body. He was driven to Palmetto Health Richland Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.<\/p>\n

Strong is charged with second-degree burglary and malicious injury to real property. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From Chicago, Illinois<\/a>;<\/p>\n

A 23-year-old man was wounded Saturday morning when the person he was trying to rob stole his gun from him and shot him in the South Side Gresham neighborhood.<\/p>\n

The turn of events happened about 6:15 a.m. when he walked up to a female and demanded her things in the 8000 block of South Ashland, according to Chicago Police.<\/p>\n

She wrestled the gun away from him and shot him in the hand, police said. He ran away but was soon caught by officers.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From Mount Auburn, Ohio<\/a>;<\/p>\n

Cincinnati Police said on Aug. 30, three men attempted to rob the victim on the 100 block of E. McMillan Street. One suspect, 20-year-old Aaron Abernathy, had a handgun that fell out of his coat pocket during a struggle with the victim.<\/p>\n

The victim then picked up the handgun and shot 21-year-old Timothy Andrew in the neck.<\/p>\n

Abernathy and Andrew were arrested and both were charged with aggravated robbery. Timothy’s brother, 20-year-old Tione Andrew, was also arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From Murfreesboro, Tennessee<\/a>;<\/p>\n

Police say two men were seen stealing from Victoria\u2019s Secret by a private citizen who was armed with a handgun.<\/p>\n

That individual reportedly confronted the burglary suspects outside of the store.<\/p>\n

According to police, those suspects jumped in to a get-a-way car that was driven by a female accomplice.<\/p>\n

As they fled the parking lot, police say the individual who had confronted the suspects, shot one round at the car.<\/p>\n

Two other vehicles in the parking lot were hit by the suspect\u2019s car as it left the lot.<\/p>\n
