From Spencer, Iowa<\/a>;<\/p>\n

In a statement from the Spencer Police Department, \u201cThe shooting victim, Nicolas Bandomo, is suspected of illegally gaining entry into the occupied residence of 801 E. 12th St. At that time, Bandomo was prohibited from making contact with the residents at the home by multiple protection orders.<\/p>\n

Bandomo was allegedly shot while inside the residence and then fled to 819 E. 12th St. where emergency personnel made contact with him. Bandomo died at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, as a result of the gunshot.<\/p>\n

In the last eight months the deceased had been arrested and had multiple charges filed against him for violation of a no contact order on Aug. 14, domestic abuse assault on June 28, violation of no contact order on June 27, domestic abuse assault with intent to inflict serious injury and violation of a no contact order on March 1, domestic abuse assault impeding flow of air\/blood and violation of a no contact order on Jan. 29.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In Sierra Vista, Arizona<\/a>; <\/p>\n

A 69-year-old Sierra Vista woman shot a man she says was trying to break into her house Thursday night, just hours after a burglary there, the Cochise County Sheriff\u2019s Department said.<\/p>\n

The wounded man, 26, was in critical condition at a Tucson hospital Friday, said Carol A. Capas, a spokeswoman for the department.<\/p>\n

The woman had reported a burglary at the home earlier Thursday. She said a door was damaged and several items were taken from the house, Capas said in a news release.<\/p>\n

About 11 p.m. she called the Sheriff\u2019s Department saying she\u2019d shot a man dressed in dark clothes as he was breaking into the house.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From Bannock, Idaho<\/a>;<\/p>\n

The Bannock County Sheriff\u2019s Office reports the shooting occurred during what appears to be a home invasion at a residence on Idaho Highway 40 just west of Downey.<\/p>\n

A man was reportedly forcing his way through the door of the residence around 4:30 a.m. Friday when the man living in the house opened fire, the Sheriff\u2019s Office said.
