Kris owns a Ring doorbell, which sends a live feed direct to his cell phone.<\/p>\n<p>The doorbell has a tiny camera inside, so you get a really good look at the would-be burglars.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re coming in. There\u2019s no question. They\u2019re coming in,\u201d said Kris.<\/p>\n<p>The video shows the unwelcome guests ring the doorbell to see if anyone is home.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe voice, what he says in there, their demeanor, they&#8217;re not here to sell cookies,\u201d explained Kris.<\/p>\n<p>Kris was inside his home, watching the crooks from his cell phone. Video from the Ring doorbell shows the intruders talking to each other. They appear to be confused by the doorbell.<\/p>\n<p>In the video, one can be heard saying, \u201cYou need an eye scanner? Is that how I get into the house? An eye scanner?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Seconds later, the crooks are in Kris\u2019 backyard. Except now, there are four people. Kris pulled out his gun.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey had flashlights and I&#8217;m basically just seeing silhouettes of their bodies moving around the backyard,\u201d said Kris. \u201cAnd as soon as one comes two feet into my home, I fire two rounds.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kris said he ran outside and fired two more rounds. The intruders took off and Kris called 911. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>From <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tulsaworld.com\/news\/crimewatch\/man-shot-while-allegedly-burglarizing-a-neighbor-s-home-booked\/article_e1fe8d7c-7546-5e38-b187-f6288e083030.html\">Tulsa, Oklahoma<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A man who was shot while allegedly burglarizing a residence in Collinsville area has been jailed.<\/p>\n<p>Tulsa County deputies booked Kou Yang, 33, into Tulsa Jail early Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Yang was shot at least twice about 4 a.m. Sept. 1 while allegedly burglarizing a neighbor&#8217;s residence, located in the 7800 block of East 131st Street North near Collinsville.<\/p>\n<p>Yang was booked into the jail on complaints of first-degree burglary, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, trespassing and assault with a deadly weapon, according to jail records.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>From <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theindychannel.com\/news\/local-news\/crime\/warren-county-man-opens-fire-on-home-invaders-armed-with-baseball-bat\">Boswell, Indiana<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Warren County sheriff\u2019s deputies were called to a home in the 1900 block of West 1050 North near Boswell, Indiana, around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday on a report of a home invasion.<\/p>\n<p>They arrived to find the home\u2019s owner, William Kellerhals, suffering from minor bumps and bruises from an apparent baseball bat attack.<\/p>\n<p>Kellerhals told police two suspects kicked in his door and entered his home without permission.<\/p>\n<p>One of the men allegedly struck Kellerhals with a bat before the homeowner was able to retrieve a gun and fire shots at the fleeing suspects.<\/p>\n<p>Police said nothing was taken from the home and Kellerhals received only minor injuries.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>From <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cincinnati.com\/story\/news\/local\/northern-ky\/2017\/09\/06\/police-robbery-suspect-shot-nky-store-owner\/638226001\/?cookies=&#038;from=global\">Newport, Kentucky<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Officers were called to E-Z Cash Pawn in the 600 block of Monmouth Street in Newport on Wednesday afternoon. <\/p>\n<p>Two suspects tried to rob the business, when the owner shot one of the suspects in the arm, according to Newport Police Chief Tom Collins.<\/p>\n<p>The owner described the suspects&#8217; getaway car to police, and officers began following the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>The pair crashed the getaway car in an alley off of 8th Street and took off running.<\/p>\n<p>One suspect was taken into custody at that time, police said. He was wearing a wig.<\/p>\n<p>The other suspect, who had been shot, tried to get into a house on Maple Avenue. Police said he threw money and a gun on the roof of the residence.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators tracked the suspect by a trail of blood, found him and took him into custody without incident.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>From <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cleveland.com\/metro\/index.ssf\/2017\/09\/man_killed_at_cleveland_taco_b.html\">Cleveland, Ohio<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Arthur Giles, one of the owners of the Taco Bell on West 117th Street in the city&#8217;s Edgewater neighborhood, said police have not told the owners exactly who shot the robber.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Everyone at the store is okay, from my understanding,&#8221; Giles said. &#8220;All the employees and all the customers are safe.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Officials have not yet identified the robber who died. Cleveland police have not released additional details about the shooting. <\/p>\n<p>Police dispatch records say two armed robbers with bandanas around their faces walked into the restaurant about 2:45 a.m. They tried to rob the store, but one of the robbers was shot in the ribs, according to police dispatch records.<\/p>\n<p>Employees told dispatchers someone fired shots, and that one of the robbers ended up on the ground.  <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Added; <\/strong>In an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/news\/crime\/armed-taco-bell-workers-shoot-kill-robbery-suspect\/ar-AArpOLC?li=BBnb7Kz&#038;ocid=iehp\">update to the Taco Bell story<\/a>, apparently three of the employees shot at the crooks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From Las Vegas, Nevada; The moments before the break-in were caught on camera.
