Scott Swift, Pacific Fleet commander] said the destroyer suffered \u201csignificant damage\u201d to its port side aft. The admiral, who said flooding has been halted, praised the crew\u2019s damage-response efforts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI visited with the crew today,\u201d Swift said. \u201cThey are tough and they are resilient.
