From Medina, Wisconsin<\/a>;<\/p>\n

Several shots were fired at an armed home invasion in the town of Medina early Friday morning, the Dane County Sheriff’s Office said.<\/p>\n

At least one person forced his or her way into a home around 3 a.m. but fled when confronted by the resident who was in the home at the time, spokeswoman Elise Schaffer said.<\/p>\n

No injuries were reported, Schaffer said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In yesterday’s feel good stories, we talked about one homeowner in LaCrosse, Wisconsin<\/a> who busted caps at three intruders but he didn’t think he hit any of them. Today we learn that he did get one who is 21-year-old Clifton Traywick and he’s in critical condition at the hospital. Police also arrested one of his accomplices, 22-year-old Duane M. Strelow.<\/p>\n

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff\u2019s Office reported Ronald Morgan, 53, was found dead outside of a Ponchatoula home around 6:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

According to detectives, the homeowner had an active protective order against Morgan. They added the homeowner also reportedly asked Morgan several times to leave.<\/p>\n

Deputies said Morgan apparently refused. They added he allegedly pulled out a knife and started threatening the homeowners.<\/p>\n

Authorities said Morgan was then shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
