{"id":7352,"date":"2009-01-26T07:59:08","date_gmt":"2009-01-26T12:59:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=7352"},"modified":"2009-01-26T18:25:58","modified_gmt":"2009-01-26T23:25:58","slug":"gitmo-alum-get-promotions-after-release","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=7352","title":{"rendered":"Gitmo alum get promotions after release"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abc.net.au\/news\/stories\/2009\/01\/25\/2473800.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Australian ABC News<\/a> is reporting that two Gitmo alum have started their climb up the al Qaeda corporate ladder;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>One of the two former inmates, a Saudi man identified as Abu Sufyan al-Azdi al-Shahri, or prisoner number 372, has been elevated to the senior ranks of Al Qaeda in Yemen, a US counter-terrorism official said.<\/p>\n<p>Three other men appear in the video, including Abu al-Hareth Muhammad al-Oufi, identified as an Al Qaeda field commander.
