Police said a woman pulled her car into the back and saw a man walking towards her. When she got out of the car, he ran at her and tried to grab her laptop bag. <\/p>\n

The woman screamed for help and her boyfriend came outside and realized what was happening. <\/p>\n

The boyfriend grabbed the suspect by the shirt, and officers said the suspect turned and starting punching him repeatedly. <\/p>\n

A witness told FOX13 the woman pulled out a gun and shot the robber.<\/p>\n

The robber is now in critical condition at Regional One.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Julio Cesar Ruvalcaba, 36, was booked into the Dallas County Jail on Monday night and faces a murder charge.<\/p>\n

An arrest warrant affidavit gave this account of the shooting:<\/p>\n

Geddes shoplifted some items from a CVS Pharmacy, 1235 S. Buckner Boulevard, and ran out of the store, according to store surveillance video.<\/p>\n

He jumped into the passenger side of a Toyota Camry and fled.<\/p>\n

Ruvalcaba, who was identified by store employees as a loss prevention employee, ran out, got into a Camaro and drove off.<\/p>\n

The Camaro chased the Camry on the freeway until the Camry crashed attempting to exit the freeway. The Camry was driven to Elam Road and the C.F. Hawn service road.<\/p>\n

Geddes got out of the passenger side of the car and walked toward the Camaro, according to the warrant.<\/p>\n

Ruvalcaba pulled out a gun and shot Geddes, then drove away, the warrant states.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

According to prosecutors, about a week before the shooting, an \u201cincident had occurred\u201d involving the shooter, the shooter\u2019s girlfriend, and Garcia\u2019s wife. Garcia separated from his wife as a result of the incident. Then, two days before the shooting, Garcia and the shooter talked on the phone. Garcia \u201cmade comments during that phone call that the shooter understood to be a threat against his safety,\u201d according to prosecutors.<\/p>\n

Around 2:30 p.m. May 14, the shooter, his girlfriend, and their three young children were upstairs in their townhome when they heard a boom come from downstairs. The shooter ran to the stairs and saw Garcia coming up the stairs toward him, according to prosecutors. The shooter yelled at Garcia to stop, and that he was sorry, but Garcia kept advancing up the stairs. The shooter shot Garcia once in the chest, killing him.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Police say [Joshua Tyler Bradley, 22] got into a fight with a 60-year-old man shortly after 2:00 a.m. Tuesday morning in the 5800 block of Koon Road in North Columbia. During the struggle, police say Bradley pointed a gun at the victim and then punched him in the head while demanding money. The two then struggled over the gun and the victim shot Bradley in the leg twice, according to police. <\/p>\n
