Remember “good old” Sen. Bernie Sanders,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Communist<\/span> \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Socialist<\/del>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cIndependent\u201d-VT?\u00a0 You know, the guy who\u00a0 claims to be the champion of the \u201clittle guy\u201d \u2013 just like most\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Communists<\/span> \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Progressives do until they get into a position of power, and then turn elitist?<\/p>\n

Well, take a gander at this interesting article from Fox News<\/a><\/em>.\u00a0 It seems Bernie-boi<\/em> and his wife are currently under investigation by the FBI concerning financial improprieties.\u00a0 Specifically, there are questions concerning the accuracy of a loan application submitted by his wife while she was President of Burlington College so that the college could purchase 33 acres of land.\u00a0 There are also questions regarding whether or not Bernie-boi\u2019s <\/em>office attempted to exert influence on the bank to approve the loan.\u00a0 From the article:<\/p>\n

Jane Sanders purportedly distorted school donor levels in the loan application she filed to People\u2019s United Bank, according to the January 2016 complaint. The liberal arts college closed that same year.<\/p>\n

Politico also reports that federal prosecutors could be looking into allegations that Sen. Sanders’ office tried inappropriately to get the bank to approve the loan.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Bernie-boi<\/em> has indicated that the allegations are \u201cnonsense\u201d.\u00a0 But he\u2019s nevertheless refusing further comments, saying that doing so would be \u201cimproper\u201d.<\/p>\n

Oh, and did I mention that Bernie-boi<\/em> and wifey have now \u201clawyered up\u201d?\u00a0 Well, yeah \u2013 they have.<\/p>\n

Hmm.\u00a0 Sounds to me perhaps more like a case of someone thinking, \u201cRules are for little people, not Senators and their wives\u201d to me \u2013 and getting caught.\u00a0 But maybe that’s just me.<\/p>\n

I also find it . . . interesting how Bernie-boi<\/em> and wifey seems to have started \u201cfeeling more heat\u201d not long after a change in Presidential Administrations.\u00a0 Couldn’t be that that Bernie-boi<\/em> and wifey no longer have anyone willing to provide top cover over at DoJ, could it?<\/p>\n

I also have to wonder what a detailed investigation of Bernie-boi\u2019s<\/em> and wifey’s financial dealings prior to their recent purchase of their 3rd home \u2013 the one on the shore of Lake Champlain that he bought for $600k in mid-2016<\/a><\/em>, a couple of months after Burlington College went under \u2013 would uncover.\u00a0 I certainly would love to know where the money to buy that place came from.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re surprised about any of this, raise your hands.\u00a0 Yeah, me neither.<\/p>\n
