Yep."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This just seemed apropos, given the article Jonn just published.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/insider.foxnews.com\/2017\/05\/25\/harvard-harris-poll-majority-americans-think-mainstream-media-publishes-fake-news\"><i>Poll: Majority of Americans Think<br \/>\nMainstream Media Publishes &#8216;Fake News&#8217;<\/i><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>The results were from the most recent Harvard-Harris poll.  <\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not just Republicans who think the media \u201cpulls things out of it\u2019s (ear)\u201d these days, either.  A majority of both political independents and Democrats also believed the mainstream media often contains fake news.  Nationwide, the combined total was nearly 2\/3 of those polled.<\/p>\n<p>When most people say that something looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, well . . . there\u2019s a damn good chance that it\u2019s a duck.<\/p>\n<p>IMO there\u2019s a reason the US public today has less respect for the press as an institution than they do for Congress.  And when we see stuff like Jonn wrote about featured by \u201creputable\u201d news organizations as \u201cbig news\u201d, IMO the public has a damn good reason for its low opinion of the former.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This just seemed apropos, given the article Jonn just published.
