{"id":70690,"date":"2017-03-07T07:00:42","date_gmt":"2017-03-07T12:00:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=70690"},"modified":"2017-03-07T08:21:44","modified_gmt":"2017-03-07T13:21:44","slug":"tuesday-morning-feel-good-stories-102","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=70690","title":{"rendered":"Tuesday morning feel good stories"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ajc.com\/news\/crime--law\/just-subway-employee-cobb-shoots-attempted-robber-chest-police-say\/h6KKaSDUqJvg62G6wV94BJ\/\">Cobb County, Georgia<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A Subway store employee shot a man who police say tried to rob the Cobb County restaurant Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p>[&#8230;]<\/p>\n<p>A man walked in alone to the Subway at 3305 Acworth Oaks Drive, near Baker Road, Cheatum said. <\/p>\n<p>A male employee shot and hit the man in the chest, but the suspect ran out and minutes later Kennesaw police got a call about a man having been shot.<\/p>\n<p>The man was at Kennesaw Medical Center but he did not drive himself there, Cheatum said.<\/p>\n<p>He was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital, where he was believed to be in surgery about 12:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Cheatum said detectives are seeking other people who may have been involved.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>From <a href=\"http:\/\/pittsburgh.cbslocal.com\/2017\/03\/06\/veteran-shoots-at-firefighters-thinking-it-was-a-break-in\/\">Cincinnati, Ohio<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Police say a veteran who shot at firefighters conducting a welfare check at his Cincinnati home won\u2019t be charged in connection with the misunderstanding.<\/p>\n<p>Kenneth Mullins says he fired at firefighters who forced entry into his home on Sunday morning because he thought the commotion was an intruder breaking in.<\/p>\n<p>A police spokesman says the Cincinnati Fire Department was called to assist officers checking on Mullins at the behest of the man\u2019s friends.<\/p>\n<p>Mullins\u2019 friends alerted the authorities after he missed a scheduled appointment for treatment at the local Veterans Affairs hospital.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tri-cityherald.com\/news\/local\/crime\/article136716513.html\">Kennewick, Washington<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Four people fought back against armed robbers in a Kennewick apartment on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Three men knocked on a door and forced their way into the home at the Irving Place Apartments about 9 p.m. and demanded the occupants give them things, said Sgt. Randy Maynard. One robber had a shotgun and another a knife.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe victims are not clear about (what the robbers wanted) and just talked about these guys yelling a lot,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The four victims fought with the robbers and one received a minor stab wound.
