When HPD arrived at the scene, they found a male who had been shot several times. Police said he was transported to the hospital in serious condition. <\/p>\n

While police were there, another male walked up and told police that he was the one who shot him, police said. He told them the man was attempting to rob him there in the parking lot. <\/p>\n

Police said the alleged robbery victim, pulled out his gun when the suspect pointed his gun at him demanding his things. They both started shooting at each other, but the robbery victim managed to wound the suspect.<\/p>\n

The robbery victim was not hurt, police said. The victim being robbed advised HPD that he had a concealed handgun license permit. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In Foley, Alabama<\/a>;<\/p>\n

Foley Police say 20-year-old intruder Sedrick D. Jemison broke three doors with a pick-axe before entering the business, Elite Marine, in Foley.<\/p>\n

The business owner, who also lives on the property, was awoken by a \u201cloud crash\u201d and retaliated with a gun. The intruder was shot dead. No arrests have been made.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From Jacksonville, Florida<\/a>;<\/p>\n

The man who owns the rental property went to check on the house, where he found the intruder inside, police said. <\/p>\n

The property owner shot the intruder, police said.<\/p>\n

Officers said they found the property owner still pointing a small black pistol at the intruder when they arrived. <\/p>\n

The intruder was treated at the scene, then taken to UF Health in unknown condition, according to police.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In Ridgeville, South Carolina<\/a>;<\/p>\n

A retired Berkeley County deputy shot a burglar in his home in Ridgeville Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n

Berkeley County deputies responded to the scene, but since the incident involved a retired deputy, they turned the case over to State Law Enforcement Division.<\/p>\n
