In Miami, Florida<\/a>, a road rage shooting may have ben a “stand your ground” case;<\/p>\n

Witnesses reportedly told police the man who was shot apparently got out of a white Chevy pickup and began arguing with the driver of gray Chevy SUV on the NW 12th Avenue bridge near NW 7th Street close to Marlins Park.<\/p>\n

The pickup driver, later identified as Ciro Luis Iglesias, 62, ended up being shot by the driver of the SUV.<\/p>\n

Iglesias was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital in critical condition.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo one is being called a suspect or a victim at this point,\u201d said Miami Police Lt. Freddie Cruz. \u201cWe are investigating and consulting with the state attorney.\u201d<\/p>\n

Attorney Simon Steckel, who does not represent either man in this incident, said this may up end up being a case of self-defense.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From Mason County, West Virginia<\/a>;<\/p>\n

Deputies said Dale William Light of Culloden was shot early Thursday morning by a homeowner after making entry into a residence on Ashton Upland Road near the Mason-Cabell county line, according to a news release from the Mason County Sheriff\u2019s Department.<\/p>\n

Light was found by deputies when they responded to the scene to investigate the report of a home invasion and attempted robbery, the release said. He was taken by ambulance to St. Mary\u2019s Medical Center in Huntington where he was listed in critical condition.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From Macon, Georgia;<\/a><\/p>\n

The 66-year-old manager of the Ole Times Country Buffet in Dublin had noticed two men walking down the sidewalk as he went to his SUV in the parking lot at about 7:30 p.m. Friday.<\/p>\n

One of them walked up with a gun and demanded Harrell\u2019s money.<\/p>\n

When the Telfair County resident said he didn\u2019t have any, the gunman made him sit in the vehicle as the robber rifled through the console and glove compartment. <\/p>\n

The robber grabbed a pistol and some other items from the vehicle and started to leave. <\/p>\n

When he turned back around with his gun pointed, Harrell fired a shot from another weapon he had concealed in the car, hitting 21-year-old Devin Wilbert.<\/p>\n
