Arthur I. Cyr has written a\u00a0thoughtful look at the nomination of GEN James Mattis for Secretary of Defense.<\/p>\n

He examines the history of the Obama administration’s various departmental secretaries in his article, and also refers to George\u00a0Marshall’s tenure as the\u00a0US Army Chief of Staff\u00a0during World War II, and his subsequent positions as Secretary of State and of Defense, post WWII.<\/p>\n

I think that President Trump (get used to hearing that, kids) is making possibly the smartest\u00a0choices in his cabinet since the end of World War II, and we have brighter days ahead.<\/p>\n

The other\u00a0issue he faces is putting people back to work in real jobs, which will bring real income back into this country. \u00a0One analyst\u00a0said that Trump is a ‘protectionist’, unlike Reagan, but at this point in time, I think we need someone exactly like that.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
