The main module of the P320 is an internal\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Stainless_steel\">stainless steel<\/a>\u00a0frame fire control unit, which consists of the integrated fire control group (<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Trigger_(firearms)\">trigger<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hammer_(firearms)\">hammer<\/a>\u00a0and all necessary linkage and springs), ambidextrous\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Slide_release\">slide release<\/a>\u00a0(one on each side of the pistol),\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ejector_(firearms)\">ejector<\/a>\u00a0and four slide rails.
