One of thieves was wounded and the other was DRT (dead right there).<\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"http:\/\/www.local10.com\/news\/crime\/suspects-shot-during-attempted-robbery-of-armored-truck-at-td-bank-branch-in-homestead\">Homestead, Florida<\/a>, two fellows tried to rob a bank, they were thwarted in their attempt by an armed private security guard who shot one of the thieves DRT (dead right there) while the other escaped.<\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wbrc.com\/story\/34102294\/3-shot-1-killed-after-attempted-robbery-of-shoes\">Shelby County, Tennessee<\/a> a man invited a couple of acquaintances to his home. The pair tried to steal his shoes and a gun fight broke out. One of the thieves and the resident were injured. The second thief was DRT (dead right there).<\/p>\n<p>A fourteen year old boy shot a woman in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bigcountryhomepage.com\/news\/main-news\/14-year-old-shoots-woman-mistaken-for-animal-in-east-texas\/624561178\">Wood County, Texas<\/a> who he thought was an animal, but turned out to be a burglar. She was taken to the hospital to be treated for her chest wound.<\/p>\n<p>A woman leaving her gym encountered an auto-thief in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tiftongazette.com\/news\/woman-holds-burglar-at-gunpoint\/article_05d665c8-c78c-11e6-aac2-d31327dfbbfc.html\">Tifton, Georgia<\/a>.
