Well, the PC crowd is\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0showing its ass<\/s> \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 demonstrating its \u201cwisdom\u201d yet again.\u00a0 This time, it\u2019s the \u201cenlightened\u201d city government of Bloomington, Indiana, that\u2019s hard at work \u201csaving us from ourselves\u201d.<\/p>\n
It seems that the City of Bloomington has chosen to officially rename two holidays.\u00a0 Henceforth, in Bloomington, they will not be known by their common – and legal – names.<\/p>\n
The Bloomington city government chose to do this because they deemed the actual names of the holidays to be \u201cculturally insensitive\u201d.\u00a0 Gotta protect those \u201cspecial little snowflakes\u201d from being offended, dontcha know.<\/p>\n
The two holidays Bloomington’s ordered renamed?\u00a0 Good Friday \u2013 and Columbus Day.<\/p>\n
