Someone sent us their work on this James Gregory Fincher<\/a> fellow who had these photos of his wedding posted to his Facebook page until recently. Someone must’ve warned him we were coming;<\/p>\n

As you can see in the photos, he claims a second award of a Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Senior Master Jump Wings, Distinguished Service Cross, Silver Star Medal, Bronze Star Medal 2 awards, and a Purple Heart. Each one qualifies him for prosecution under the provisions of the Stolen Valor Act. We’re told that he also claims to be a retired First Sergeant.<\/p>\n

Well, according to the National Personnel Records Center, none of that is true. He was a Petroleum Supply Specialist in the National Guard and he deployed during Desert Storm. No valor awards, no jump wings, no time in the infantry. He did eight years in the National Guard and left as a specialist (E-4);<\/p>\n
