Had a visit the other day.\u00a0 My little friend Birdie came to visit \u2013 with news.<\/p>\n

Yeah, those\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0idiotic jerks<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u201cfine fellows\u201d we \u201cknow and love\u201d in the DRG are at it again. Once again, I\u2019ve been \u201cidentified\u201d. Oh no!\u00a0 \u00a0\u201cThe horror . . . the horror!\u201d<\/p>\n

Well, no \u2013 not really.\u00a0 They\u2019re just as accurate this time as they have been the previous fourteen times.<\/p>\n

In other words:\u00a0 they Fornicated Fido yet again.\u00a0 Not even close.<\/p>\n

But hey, I should count my blessings \u2013 it looks like they\u2019re back to their old tricks.\u00a0 Once again, they\u2019ve taken to identifying me as a true BAMF.\u00a0 I suppose that\u2019s better than many other possibilities.\u00a0 Hell, they could<\/em> have identified me as being some Metrosexual Clintoon supporter – but they didn’t!<\/p>\n

Anyway:\u00a0 this time, those\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0dumbcluck jholes<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 fine individuals have \u201cidentified\u201d me as being a retired SF NCO.\u00a0 He doesn\u2019t need their grief, so I\u2019ll refrain from naming him.<\/p>\n

But really, DRC:\u00a0 California?\u00a0 The freaking Granola State?\u00a0 Live there?\u00a0 Me?<\/p>\n

Puh-leeze.\u00a0 To paraphrase someone from the 80s who had just as \u201cwinning\u201d a personality as you guys:\u00a0 \u201cYou cannot be serious!\u201d<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

Now, I\u2019ve been to parts of California. \u00a0It\u2019s scenic, and it seems a nice place to visit. \u00a0There\u2019s plenty to do there, and the weather is nice.\u00a0 (Well, at least in SoCal.\u00a0 Froze my azz off the few times I had business in the Bay area.)\u00a0 You wanna live in a beautiful place that’s also a Socialist cesspool trying its damnedest to regress to Third World economic status through stupid public policy and governmental over-regulation, be my guest.<\/p>\n

But me<\/em> live<\/u> there?\u00a0 Oh, hell no! \u00a0Not now; not ever.\u00a0 Ain\u2019t gonna happen unless and until that crazy place returns to political sanity.\u00a0 And I just don\u2019t think I\u2019ll live long enough to see that.<\/p>\n

OK, obligatory recap time.\u00a0 This is at least<\/em> misidentification number fifteen \u2013 and I say \u201cat least\u201d because that count only includes the ones I\u2019ve seen or which Birdie has mentioned to me.\u00a0 I\u2019m sure there were at least one or two others I missed.<\/p>\n

This time around, I’m a retired SF NCO.\u00a0 Last time, according to the DRG I was a 1SG in an Army Engineer unit<\/a><\/em>.\u00a0 The time before that, purportedly I was a bona fide war hero with multiple high decorations for valor.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve previously been misidentified by those tools as both a retired SF Major and SGM; a serving Army officer; a retired law professor who served in the Army during the Eisenhower administration; 4 different Navy SEALs; a Navy diver; a deceased Army GO; a different longtime commenter at TAH; and a guy who occasionally writes a sports column for a newspaper in the Midwest.\u00a0 If you want to read the details, follow the link at the second link above \u2013 and continue following links.\u00a0 I\u2019m not going to take the time to link each previous article individually; there are too many of them now.<\/p>\n

So far, the DRG is batting \u201cOh-fer\u201d – whiffing every time.\u00a0 They\u2019ve now whiffed at least 15 consecutive times.\u00a0 I don\u2019t see that changing any time soon.<\/p>\n

But hey:\u00a0 at least they\u2019re consistent.\u00a0 Sorta.\u00a0 (smile)<\/p>\n

Keep wasting yer time if you want, DRG.\u00a0 It\u2019s a free country.<\/p>\n

But, honestly – I’m getting a bit worried about you folks.\u00a0 It’s beginning to seem to me that the following accurately sums up your behavior.\u00a0 And that’s not good.<\/p>\n
