One of our Canadian friends send us their work on this fellow, Michael McNaught, who should have stuck to breeding Labradoodles than stick his toe into stolen valor waters. <\/p>\n

He claims that he served in the Canadian Army, the US Army and the French Foreign Legion. He introduced himself to the group “Courageous Companions” on Facebook which has since scrubbed their pages of his image after posting this introduction;<\/p>\n

I guess his undoing was the fact that he claimed the fourth award of the Combat Infantry Badge – there is no such thing – it exists but no one has ever been awarded that particular appurtenance.<\/p>\n

He doesn’t exist in US military records, nor does he exist in the Canadian Governor General’s on-line list<\/a> of recipients of the Medal of Bravery;<\/p>\n
