One employee ran to his parent&#8217;s car where they were waiting to take him home and told them of the robbery. The employee&#8217;s father intervened in the robbery with his .45 caliber handgun. He shot Malachi multiple times. Hicks is currently in stable condition at the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>One of the children in a <a href=\"http:\/\/kfyo.com\/lubbock-burglary-suspect-shot-stomach-10-23-16\/\">Lubbock, Texas<\/a> home woke his parents when he heard someone break into their house. The father confronted the intruder with a firearm as the criminal poured lighter fluid on the floor of the abode. The father warned the crook that he was armed, but when the thug approached him, the father feared for his life and shot him in the stomach.
