Over the past week, we\u2019ve seen a few new items of interest come to light concerning the Clintoon \u201cPrivate Email\u201d story.\u00a0 Here they are.<\/p>\n
\u2022\u00a0 <\/strong>The day after the House Select Committee on Benghazi and the Department of State reached an agreement wherein State would provide the Committee copies of Clintoon’s email, the administrator of her private, unauthorized and poorly secured email server apparently asked for technical help on Reddit.\u00a0 What kind of technical help?\u00a0 Well, in the guy\u2019s own words, \u201cI need to strip out a VIP’s (VERY VIP) email address from a bunch of archived email . . . .\u201d<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 <\/strong>Afterwards, Clintoon ordered a change in her email retention policy on that private email server, shortening it dramatically.\u00a0 That change was requested in December 2014 \u2013 but wasn\u2019t implemented until March 2015.\u00a0 The same guy also apparently asked Reddit for advice on how to do that, too.\u00a0 (See link in previous \u201cbullet\u201d for source.)<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 <\/strong>At least one employee of Platte River Networks \u2013 who hosted Clintoon\u2019s unauthorized and unsecured email system used to conduct official government business \u2013 referred in writing to the requested change in retention policy (to \u201cautomatically delete after 60 days\u201d) as the “Hilary [sic] coverup [sic] operation”<\/a><\/em>.\u00a0 The individual later claimed to the FBI that they\u2019d been \u201cjoking\u201d in that email. \u00a0\u00a0(Personally, I\u2019m not buying that for a minute.\u00a0 I might buy \u201cprophetic\u201d or \u201cbeing brutally honest\u201d.)<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 <\/strong>The POTUS was apparently a regular communicant with Clintoon at her \u201cprivate\u201d email address while she was SECSTATE<\/a><\/em>.\u00a0 (Citing \u201cPresidential communications privilege\u201d, the Federal government has refused to make these emails public.)\u00a0 This is in spite of the fact that the POTUS in March 2015 publicly denied any knowledge her use of such a server (and email address) prior to the media revealing its existence<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n \u2022 <\/strong>One of Clintoon’s longtime aides reputedly possessed a thumbdrive containing an archive of Clintoon’s emails, which she said was “something she happened to have laying around the house.”\u00a0 When the FBI requested she produce it, she was “unable to find it” – purportedly after searching “several times”. (See first link in previous “bullet” for source.<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 <\/strong>Multiple officials at the Department of State knew of Clintoon\u2019s use of a private email server to conduct official government business in 2009 and 2010 \u2013 and had serious concerns about whether mandatory records retention policies were in use for emails originating on or received by that server<\/a><\/em>.\u00a0 These officials requested that Bryan Pagliano, the former Clintoon campaign aid who set up and maintained this server, to pass along their concern to Clintoon\u2019s \u201cinner circle\u201d.\u00a0 Pagliano in turn advised the FBI of these concerns by multiple Department of State officials when he himself was later investigated.<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 <\/strong>In fact, there are so many irregularities in the FBI\u2019s investigation of Clintoon\u2019s email that some are now claiming that the entire investigation was nothing but a sham from day one<\/a><\/em>.\u00a0 (The case made in the linked article is a persuasive, though circumstantial, one.)<\/p>\n Yep.\u00a0 Just another week\u2019s worth of . . . \u201cunusual\u201d revelations concerning Clintoon email, with a bit of stuff about possible politically-motivated FBI malfeasance thrown in.\u00a0 Nothing to see here, people; move along.<\/p>\n Sheesh.\u00a0 You or I would be in jail by now.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
