Kahler was released from jail after violating a no-contact order in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thegazette.com\/subject\/news\/public-safety\/johnson-county\/north-liberty-man-shot-after-police-say-he-entered-home-assaulted-women-20160817\">Oxford, Idaho<\/a>. Four hours later, he went back to the home where he had just been arrested. Kahler was escorted from the home by a man who was protecting the woman who was Kahler&#8217;s target. A few minutes later, Kahler supposedly fired a weapon at the house. The homeowner went outside and shot Kahler in the leg with a shot gun.<\/p>\n<p>Nishawn Hill tried to rob a guy in <a href=\"http:\/\/wric.com\/2016\/08\/18\/botched-robbery-suspect-who-was-shot-now-charged-in-food-lion-incident\/\">Henrico, Virginia<\/a>. The victim took the gun away from Hill and shot him. Now Hill is charged with his own wounding.<\/p>\n<p>A fellow was burglarizing cars in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wfmj.com\/story\/32786490\/victim-shoots-youngstown-car-theft-suspect\">Youngstown, Ohio<\/a> when he was confronted by one of his victims. The thief pulled out a knife, the victim pulled out a gun and shot the thief. There&#8217;s no word on the thief&#8217;s condition, but he&#8217;s facing a slew of charges after he recovers.<\/p>\n<p>A man tried to rob a convenience store in <a href=\"http:\/\/lancasteronline.com\/news\/pennsylvania\/store-clerk-shoots-suspect-during-attempted-robbery\/article_f7bf2f95-edd3-50b3-a653-0e7dbf6fd13f.html\">Harrisburg, Pennsylvania<\/a>, but all he got for his trouble is shot.
