Clintoon recently made a public statement with which the WaPO Fact Checker took issue.\u00a0 Here\u2019s the statement:<\/p>\n
\u201cDirector Comey said my answers were truthful, and what I\u2019ve said is consistent with what I have told the American people, that there were decisions discussed and made to classify retroactively certain of the emails.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Well, the WaPO checked it out \u2013 and bluntly disagrees.\u00a0 It rates the statement as meriting \u201cFour Pinocchios\u201d.\u00a0 Their rating scale can be found here<\/a><\/em>, but I\u2019ll cut to the chase:\u00a0 their definition of a statement rated \u201cFour Pinocchios\u201d is short, sweet, and to the point.\u00a0 It defines such statements as, \u201cWhoppers.\u201d<\/p>\n
In effect, the WaPO here has called Clintoon a bald-faced liar.\u00a0 Their article on the matter analyzes the topic in substantial detail; it can be found here<\/a><\/em> if you\u2019re interested.<\/p>\n
Yeah, most readers already knew that the Clintoons have significant \u201cveracity issues\u201d pretty much every time they open their mouths.\u00a0 But I think it\u2019s great to see this in print in the WaPO.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
