He pulled up alongside waving a rifle and yelling about a stick up. Unfortunately for the crook, his target was an off-duty police officer who gave up ten bullets to the thief. The thief un-assed the area and showed up at the hospital later.<\/p>\n<p>A truck owner in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abqjournal.com\/818246\/bcso-man-with-gun-car-thief-with-machete-stand-off-in-south-valley.html\">Albuquerque, New Mexico<\/a>, caught a man and a woman trying to steal his F-150. He confronted the woman, Shantelle Vierra, who was in the driver&#8217;s seat. She threatened him with a machete. When the police arrived, she tried to run over the officer, but then beat her feet on the pavement and she was found nearby.<\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"http:\/\/www.azcentral.com\/story\/news\/local\/glendale-breaking\/2016\/08\/01\/1-dead-1-custody-after-glendale-circle-k-shooting\/87913778\/\">Glendale, Arizona<\/a>, Carol Miracle was accosted by Frank Taylor outside of a convenience store with a gun pointed at her head. The 23-year-old Ms. Miracle employed her own gun to shoot Mr Taylor DRT (dead right there). Then she went home and called the police to tell them what she&#8217;d done.<\/p>\n<p>A burglar, caught in the act of burgling, struggled with a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.villagevoice.com\/news\/nypd-officer-shoots-suspected-burglar-in-groin-nearby-woman-suffers-cable-head-wound-8930888\">New York City<\/a> police officer, during which the officer fired one shot &#8220;striking the man in the groin&#8221;.
