She got stuck in soft sand, and could not free her vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>She was without food, and was in a remote area.  While she was able to collect rainwater, the weather was extreme &#8211; in the 90s some days.<\/p>\n<p>By Thursday, she was in fairly bad shape.<\/p>\n<p>Luckily, she was on or near Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.  Yesterday, some soldiers from the MA ARNG training on the installation spotted her.<\/p>\n<p>She&#8217;s doing fine now.  Kudos, men.<\/p>\n<p>Fox today <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/2016\/07\/28\/soldiers-rescue-elderly-woman-stranded-in-hot-car-in-new-jersey-for-days.html\"><em>has a decent if short story<\/em><\/a> on the incident.
