Bernath also altered the image to add a rocker of a Chief Petty Officer. Bernath claimed that the National Association of Naval Photographers had bestowed the title on him. The association president told us that they don’t bestow the title Chief Petty Officer to their membership. <\/p>\n
Bernath then applied for a restraining order against me, claiming that on a day that I was actually in the White House for a Medal of Honor ceremony, Bernath saw me knocking on his door and then running into his bushes – the judge decided that he had no jurisdiction over me in that case, since I had never been to Oregon, and dismissed it. Bernath then filed a law suit against me and several others which was tossed out of Oregon court for the same reasons.<\/p>\n
So Bernath moved to Florida and his abuse of the legal system followed him. In the interim, the California Bar Association (where Bernath held a license to practice law) moved to have him disbarred, we’re still waiting for the California Supreme Court to rule on that one. By the way, Bernath sued the two CA Bar Association members who had opposed him during the hearing in LA. Florida courts tossed that one out, too.<\/p>\n
Anyway, he tried suing us again, this time in Florida, charging that we had tried to kill him by pouring water into the gas tank of his airplane. That he had tried to fly the craft and it began to sputter and his flight instructor had to regain control of the aircraft and land it safely. Lee County Port Authority detectives investigated his charges;<\/p>\n

Elizabeth V. Krier has violated my rights to Due Process of Law. She has declared me a vexatious litigant because I filed a complaint in Florida about new torts against me in Florida. <\/p>\n
Krier has ordered that no paper shall be filed in the 20th Judicial District by myself to obtain compensation for the torts and attempted murders against myself by defendants unless I file through the use of a proxy, a member of the Florida Bar.<\/p>\n

Of course, Bernath is no stranger to attacking judges, he assaulted a judge in Oregon and he was perp-walked away from that encounter in cuffs.
