In Leitchfield, Kentucky<\/a>, Patrick Dewayne Decker, 43 tried to woo back his ex-girlfriend despite the protective order she had filed against him. He lovingly kicked down her door and he was met in the warm embrace of gunfire. He was DRT (dead right there) when police arrived.<\/p>\n

In Lumberton, North Carolina<\/a> Franklin McLaurin, walked into a convenience store and pointed a gun at an employee’s head. A second employee drew his own gun and shot McLaurin who un-assed the AO. Police arrived with their search dog and found Franklin hiding in bushes nearby. He was rushed to the hospital to treat his life-threatening injury.<\/p>\n

In Great Bend, Kansas<\/a>, a 65-year-old resident heard a noise outside the home and went to investigate. When he came back inside he saw that the other elderly resident was wrestling around with an intruder. The 65-year-old drew his gun and shot the intruder who was taken to a hospital for his serious injuries.<\/p>\n

In Mobile, Alabama<\/a>, police responded to a shooting incident and found an apartment resident wounded with non-life-threatening injuries and they also found 19 year-old Eddie Hardy, an intruder who was also wounded by gun fire.
