He’s been identified to us as Micah Xavier Johnson, a veteran of the Army Reserve from Mesquite, Texas. He served in Afghanistan in 2013 – 2014. According to Dallas police who negotiated with him, he wanted to kill white police officers. He was killed when police sent a robot into a parking garage he was occupying to disarm his bomb and he “blowed up”.
