Bobo sends us a story from Goodlettsville, Tennessee<\/a>. 52-year-old Tony Joe Gunter was mad because his girlfriend of two years broke up with him when she found out about his extensive criminal history. So he started breaking into her home. In response, she got an ADT security system. While the installer was there, she noticed that her cell phone was missing – that’s when she saw Gunter’s feet sticking out from under the bed. So, she shot one of his feet and held him at gun point until the police arrived. I’m surprised that his attempt to win her back failed.<\/p>\n

In Copperas Cove, Texas<\/a>, near Fort Hood, Damontay Devin Holmes, 20, turned up at the local hospital with a gunshot wound. He told police that he was just minding his own business outside of Walmart when someone shot him. Under further investigation, Holmes admitted that he had been with friends when they decided to “hit a lick” in the local parlance meaning to “commit a robbery”. They took a rifle and kicked in an apartment door, yelling for everyone to get down, punctuating the command with gunfire. The residents had their own gun and returned fire before they ran out the back door.
